I'm watching gameplays of the Silent Hill games I've already played (1, 2, 3) and thinking of watching gameplay vids of the ones I haven't. But I hear some of the other games are simply bad. Just noticed this message from nearly 3 years ago that Tumblr never gave me a notification for. I doubt you are looking for an answer anymore, but I’ll just shout out these 3 games:
- Silent Hill 4: The Room. Has a bad reputation for basically no reason, it’s my second or third favorite SH game. The only one I’d say is definitively better than 4 is 2.
- Silent Hill Shattered Memories for the Wii was alright. Probably would’ve been better if it was developed as an original IP and not a SH game.
- I’m not sure if P.T. counts, but that is very interesting and absolutely worth checking out. Unfortunately gameplay videos are the only option there since Konami completely removed this game from existence.
